Hornet F.3 PX396 at Linton on Ouse airfield.
On 15th July 1948 this 64 Squadron aircraft made a fast landing at Linton on Ouse owing to the starboard throttle linkage breaking. It also landed too far down the runway and overshot into a cornfield having hit various things en-route.
