Hornet PX366 damaged in the air, (probably) landed at Church Fenton airfield.
On 22nd November 1948 this 41 Squadron aircraft suffered a midair collision with a pigeon during a low level cross country training flight. A hole was made in the aircraft's nose but the pilot appears to have landed safely, probably back at base of Church Fenton.
