Ground accident at Yeadon airfield.
On Saturday, 4th December 1948 a mechanic was struck by a rotating aeroplane propeller at Yeadon airfield and was admitted to Leeds hospital with two broken arms. He was an employee of the Lancashire Aircraft Corporation Ltd, based there. The identity of the aeroplane is not known. The Lancashire Aircraft Corporation had a lot of aeroplanes on their books.
