Mosquito FB.VI TE587 at Leconfield airfield.

On 7th October 1946 this Central Gunnery School aircraft swung to starboard on take off at Leconfield airfield, the pilot was unable to correct the swing and the undercarriage collapsed. The damage was initial given a Cat.B/FA damage assessment and was considered for repair but on 31st October 1946 it was re-assessed as Re-Cat.E and struck off charge.
