Mosquito T.36 RL196 at Linton on Ouse airfield.

On 5th October 1946 this 264 Squadron aircraft ran into an air raid shelter at Linton on Ouse airfield while being marshalled at night. The aircraft sustained Cat.B/FA damage and may have say for some time in an unrepaired site at Linton on Ouse. The AM Form 78 states it was moved by road to 51 M.U. on 13th May 1947 but remained unrepaired. It was later re-assessed and struck off charge with Re-Cat.E damage being the damage assessment, possibly as late as November 1947.
