Anson C.1 MG475 at Melbourne airfield.

On 20th June 1946 this No.1510 Flight aircraft suffered a burst main tyre on take off at Melbourne airfield. Later, on landing at Melbourne the pilot lost control and the aircraft swung around causing the undercarriage legs to collapse. Significant damage to the aircraft resulted and it was written off.
