During a flight during the day on 1st March 1946 the starboard engine of this No.54 Operational Training Flight failed during a flight. The pilot appears to have been unable to maintain height and was unable to make it back to base at East Moor so made a forced landing at Marston Moor airfield and sustained minor Cat.Ac damage doing so.
