Meteor F.3 EE356 damaged in the air, landed safely (probably) at Leconfield airfield.

On 2nd December 1946 this Central Gunnery School aircraft suffered the sliding canopy detach in flight which then blew back into the tail. The tail sustained minor damage but the pilot was able to land safely, probably at base of Leconfield.
