Anson DJ638 damaged in the air, landed safely (probably) at Melbourne airfield.
On 12th February 1946 Anson DJ638 collided in the air with Central Gunnery School Spitfire TD404. The pilots of both aircraft landed safely. Anson DJ638 probably returned to base and landed at Melbourne, it was probably under the care of No.1510 or No.1552 Flight at the time as both units were based at Melbourne and operated Ansons.
