During the evening of 10th February 1945 this 434 Squadron aircraft was to be flown on a night flying training exercise. At 19.30hrs this aircraft was being taxied on the perimeter track towards the end of the runway to await take off when it collided with Lancaster PA226 that was leaving it's dispersal pan and joining the periemter track. Both aircraft received minor damage.
