Halifax NR210 damaged in the air, landed at Full Sutton airfield.
On the night of 3rd / 4th March 1945 the crew of this 77 Squadron aircraft were detailed to fly an operational flight to bomb Kamen and they took off from Full Sutton airfield at 18.35hrs. The crew released their
bomb load onto the target at 22.05hrs from 20,000 feet and flew back to Yorkshire. While flying in the landing circuit of Full Sutton at 00.45hrs the aircraft was attacked from around 500 yards by an enemy aircraft
which damaged the rear turret and wounded the rear gunner. The pilot took evasive action and avoided further damage and while they left the landing circuit they went on to land at Full Sutton at 00.55hrs.

F/Sgt Mustoe was posted from 77 Squadron to No.42 Base on 22nd April 1945.
On 12th June 1944 Gaddes, Hobbs and Chapman were training at 21 OTU when Wellington LM635 suffered a fire inside the aircraft. The crew baled out and the aircraft crashed near Upper Tysoe, Warwickshire.
