At 12.45hrs on 14th January 1945 at Linton on Ouse airfield this 408 Squadron aircraft was being prepared for an operational flight to bomb a target at Grevenbroich when the aircraft caught fire. The fire could not be brought under control and it later exploded.
No crew.
