Halifax NA621 at Rufforth airfield.
On 4th January 1945 this 1663 Heavy Conversion Unit aircraft was flown on a cross country training flight. On landing in a cross wind at Rufforth airfield at 16.05hrs a strong gust of wind lifted the starboard wing causing the port wing tip and also the tail fin to hit the ground. Minor damage resulted to the aircraft.
