Halifax MZ754 at Snaith airfield.
51 Squadron flew operational sorties to Bohlen on the night of 13th / 14th February 1945 and Halifax MZ734 took off from Snaith at 18.28hrs. The crew released the bomb load over the target area at 22.12hrs from 18,000 feet and returned to base, landing at Snaith at 02.47hrs. After landing normally the tail wheel assembly collapsed.
The 51 Squadron records incorrect list this aircraft as being MZ734 but that never served with 51 Squadron and was lost on Ops some five months earlier with 158 Squadron.
