Halifax LW545 at Melbourne airfield.
On 15th February 1945 this 10 Squadron aircraft made a normal landing at Melbourne following an air test and bombing practice flight lasting an hour. On landing at 17.12hrs the tail wheel failed to castor and the oleo leg finally collapsed. It came to rest with minor Cat.Ac damage resulting.
