Harvard KF177 at Riccall airfield.
On 25th March 1945 425 Squadron Halifax HR194 crashed on landing at Riccall airfield, it struck and damaged a visiting Harvard from Boscombe Down. The 425 Squadron orb stated it was at 12.20hrs, Riccall's station orb gives 13.18hrs, the AM Form 1180 states 13.45hrs. The Riccall station orb and also the AM Form 1180 stated that the aircraft was part of "E.T.T. School, Boscombe Down" but I have not yet identified this unit. On paper it was on the books of the A&AEE, also at Boscombe Down.
