Spitfire EN796 at Pocklington airfield.
On 10th April 1945 this 1689 Flight aircraft took off from Holme on Spalding Moor airfield at 09.39hrs to be used on a fighter affiliation exercise. On landing at Pocklington airfield at 09.54hrs probably prior to the exercise being carried out the undercarriage partly collapsed causing damage to the aircraft.
