Spitfire AR499 at Catfoss airfield.
On 9th January 1945 this Central Gunnery School aircraft was being taxied around Catfoss airfield when the mainplane struck a female member of airfield staff on the perimeter track. The aircraft must have only been slightly damaged; three days later it crashed near Beverley.
