Spitfire AR387 mid air collision, crashed on beach (Ulrome / Barmston area?).
On 20th March 1945 this Central Gunnery School aircraft was being flown with at least one other Spitfire of the same unit near the Yorkshire coast when this aircraft and Spitfire AD469 collided. The pilot of this aircraft appears to have lost control so baled out with the aircraft crashin onto the beach, possibly in the Ulrome / Barmston area south of Bridlington.
Pilot - F/Lt McKenzie. Slightly injured.
