On the night of 3rd / 4th March 1945 the Luftwaffe operation named "Gisela" was put into being. I have located a brief mention that five air force personnel at Lissett airfield were killed as a result of an aircraft straffing them during the course of the night. To date I have been unable to find any deaths which match up to give these five their correct identities and would therefore like to hear from anyone who could help. Catfoss airfield was also attacked and three aircraft slightly damaged.
