Unidentified Spitfire at Clifton airfield.
On 3rd April 1945 during take off (probably at Clifton airfield) the undercarriage legs became damaged, possibly when the pilot retracted them too soon after it became airborne. The pilot later landed at Clifton airfield at 12.10hrs with the undercarriage not fully locked down. The undercarriage then collapsed in the overshoot area.
