Unidentified Fortress damaged in the air, landed at Carnaby airfield.
The Carnaby station record book states that at 17.50hrs on 30th March 1945 a Fortress landed there with the rudder cables shot away. This would have been a USAAF aircraft damaged by enemy action during an
operational flight. Nothing more is currently known about the incident or the aircraft involved.
