(Probable) unidentified Spitfire at Clifton airfield.

At 17.30hrs on 15th January 1945 this aircraft landed at Clifton airfield owing to darkness and also deteriorating weather. While taxying, a wingtip caught a compressor which caused minor damage to the aircraft. The Clifton airfield flying control logbook for the date mentions the incident and also states that they informed Drem airfield. The pilot named below is listed in the flying control logbook as being that named below, he was serving with 340 Squadron who were based at Drem at the time and who were flying Spitfires.
