Halifax W7771 at Lindholme airfield.
At 16.15hrs on 19th April 1944 this 1656 Heavy Conversion Unit aircraft was stationary and empty at Lindholme when it was struck and damaged by a tractor that was towing equipment around the airfield (stated in the airfield record book as being an engine stand). The driver of the tractor was not qualified to be driving the vehicle.
