Spitfire Mk.Vb W3412 at Topcliffe airfield.
On 21st November 1944 the ATA were in the process of delivering this aircraft somewhere when the pilot landed at Topcliffe airfield. While taxying on the perimter track at 14.10hrs the starboard wing struck a steam roller. The pilot was part of No.5 Ferry Pilot Pool, based at Thame.
