Halifax W1005 at Marston Moor airfield.
At 17.30hrs on 14th February 1944 this 1652 Heavy Conversion Unit aircraft landed at Marston Moor airfield at the first intersection of the north / south runway and ran out of runway to stop on, it drifted off the runway and ran through a ditch that had been dug next to the end of runway. It was badly damaged and three of the crew slightly injured.
