On 26th June 1944 this aircraft was being flown by two instructors of No.4 E.F.T.S. for a basic flying practice. An hour into the flight the aircraft dived into the ground in a field next to Bellasize airfield at an angle of around forty degrees. No cause for the accident could be found.
