At 20.20hrs on 16th September 1944 this 1659 Heavy Conversion Unit aircraft was parked in a dispersal point at Topcliffe airfield when it was struck by the out of control Halifax LL464 that was attempting to take off. Minor damage resulted to this aircraft.
