Warwick PN718 at Linton on Ouse airfield.
During a delivery flight on 22nd September 1944 being made by a pilot of No.4 Ferry Pilot Pool of the ATA the aircraft made a landing at Linton on Ouse airfield at 17.00hrs. A short time later an undercarriage leg collapsed. An investigation felt it was likely that damage caused by a previous heavy landing may have caused unseen damage to the undercarriage or the pilot moved the undercarriage lever.
