Spitfire P8316 at Catfoss airfield.
On 9th August 1944 this Central Gunnery School aircraft was in the process of landing at Catfoss airfield in a cross wind when a tyre burst, the pilot could not control the aircraft and a swing developed which resulted in the undercarriage collapsing.
