Halifax MZ759 at Lissett airfield.
During the morning of 18th October 1944 this 158 Squadron aircraft damaged its tail wheel on landing at Lissett on which must have been a non-operational flight. Unfortunately the AM Form 1180 for the initial tail wheel collapse is missing. At 11.10hrs Halifax LL270 of 297 Squadron landed at Lissett and swung off the runway, unfortunately MZ759 was where it had stopped previously and LL270 collided with it.
