Halifax MZ640 at Leconfield airfield.
On the night of 28th / 29th June 1944 this 640 Squadron aircraft was flown on a Bullseye training exercise. At 01.40hrs a heavy landing was made at Leconfield and the tail wheel assembly broke. Minor damage to the aircraft resulted.
