Halifax MZ520 at Croft airfield.
At 10.40hrs on 25th April 1944 this 431 Squadron aircraft was parked on a dispersal point at Croft airfield having it's engines ground tested when Halifax LK868 taxied into it. Halifax MZ520 had a fitter in the cockpit operating the throttle controls at the time but he was in no way to blame for the incident.
