Halifax LW631 at Holme on Spalding Moor airfield.
During the afternoon on 4th July 1944 this 76 Squadron aircraft was flown on a training flight. On landing at Holme on Spalding Moor airfield at 17.08hrs the tail tyre burst and a short time later the tail wheel assembly collapsed. The aircraft came to rest with minor damage to the tail section.
