Halifax LV940 at Lissett airfield.

At 21.10hrs on 8th November 1944 this 158 Squadron aircraft was parked on a dispersal point at Lissett airfield when it was struck by Halifax LW719 that had swung off the runway on take off for a training flight. LV940 was by far the most seriously damaged aircraft of the two and was not repaired.
