Halifax LL189 at Holme on Spalding Moor airfield.
At 11.45hrs on 11th February 1944 this 76 Squadron aircraft was in the process of taking off from Holme on Spalding Moor airfield so the crew could give the aircraft an airtest when the port outer engine failed as it picked up speed. The crew reduced power to the engines but the aircraft swung off the runway and the undercarriage collapsed.
