Halifax LK850 at Lissett airfield.
During the morning of 11th August 1944 this 158 Squadron aircraft was used so the crew could carry out a conversion training exercise with the Halifax MkIII type having only just arrived at the squadron. At 11.00hrs the aircraft landed with drift in a slight cross wind blowing, on touching down it swung off the runway and struck at dispersal hut causing minor damage.
