Hurricane LF332 at Sherburn in Elmet airfield.
On 15th January 1944 this aircraft was parked at Sherburn in Elmet airfield when it was struck by Swordfish LS183 that had been blown from it's moorings during a gale. Both aircraft sustained minor damage. This Hurricane must have sustained only very minor damage as four days later it was on charge with 1690 B.D.T.Flight at Metheringham when it was slightly damaged again.
