Halifax JB784 at Riccall airfield.
During the morning of 3rd February 1944 this 1658 Heavy Conversion Unit aircraft was flown on a basic circuits and landings exercise using Riccall airfield. With a strong wind blowing a heavy landing was made at 09.30hrs which saw the tail wheel collapse. One member of the crew sustained injuries.
