Halifax HX242 at Leconfield airfield.

At 10.00hrs on 23rd February 1944 this 466 Squadron aircraft was having it's engines run up on the ground at Leconfield prior to taking off when the chocks moved on slippery ground. The aircraft's brake pressure was not sufficient to hold the aircraft and it moved forward, striking a platform ladder with the port inner propeller. Minor damage to the aircraft resulted.
