Mosquito HK181 at Church Fenton airfield.
On 8th November 1944 the crew of this 307 Squadron aircraft were undertaking a day time training flight when one of the engines failed. On landing at Church Fenton the aircraft crashed off the end of the runway and into the overshoot area coming to rest badly damaged.

Stanislaw Rochminski was posted to 307 Squadron from 54 OTU on 26th September 1944. On 28th November 1944 he was involved in a similar mishap at Church Fenton involving Mosquito MV534 when the aircraft overran the runway and sustained damage.
