Wellington HE420 at Finningley airfield.
On 19th July 1944 this 18 O.T.U. aircraft was being flown on a cross country training flight when the starboard main tyre burst in the air, the crew returned to Finningley early and attempted a landing but the starboard undercarriage collapsed at 23.55hrs. Minor Cat.Ac damage resulted.
