Argus FK344 at Sherburn in Elmet airfield.
On 15th August 1944 this aircraft was in the care of an ATA pilot of No.7 Ferry Pilot Pool and was in the process of landing on a waterlogged Sherburn in Elmet airfield. On landing the aircraft ran into a soft area of the grass airfield and overturned. The aircraft received damage and was not repaired.
