At 10.00hrs on 7th February 1944 this 1663 Heavy Conversion Unit aircraft struck some form of obstruction at Rufforth airfield while taxying. Minor Cat.A/FA damage was the damage assessment and the aircraft was it was repaired on site swiftly to be then written off in another crash on 4th March 1944.
