Spitfire "P8527" at Catfoss airfield.
On 27th February 1944 this Central Gunnery School orb states that Spitfire P8527 tipped onto it's nose while being taxied around Catfoss airfield. no flying took place on this date at Catfoss because of snow so I assume the aircraft was damaged when it taxied into snow. The C.G.S. orb cannot be correct in identifying the aircraft as Spitfire P8527 was written off on 24th August 1942 in Wales.
