Unidentified aircraft damaged at Thornaby airfield.
At 12.15hrs on 26th October 1944 an aeroplane crashed at the end of Runway 23 at Thornaby airfield. Nothing more is known about this incident. The only information located was found within the Thornaby airfield station orb (AIR28/826).
