Unidentified Halifax damaged in the air, landed at Driffield airfield.

On the night of 18th / 19th August 1944 this aircraft was one of several 466 Squadron that undertook operational flights to bomb Sterkrade. The Driffield airfield orb states that one of the aircraft was damaged by flak which slightly injured the flight engineer but does not identify the aircraft or the airman. The 466 Squadron orb is very vague on all their flights around this time and does not list anything at all that could be connected to this incident. The following were flight engineers who flew on this date and who made it to the enemy coast so the injury must be to one of these..

Morley, Jack, David, Gorman, Bell, Vivash, Beecher, Hall, Hill, Marks, Green, Whitehead, Bunting and Close.
