Unidentified Wellington damaged in the air, landed at Carnaby airfield.
The Carnaby airfield record book states that at 20.54hrs on 17th December 1944 a Wellington from 92 Group landed there with the starboard engine was on fire. No.92 Group contained Wellingtons from many of the
Operational Training Units that included 11 OTU, 12 OTU, 14 OTU, 16 OTU, 17 OTU, 26 OTU, 27 OTU, 29 OTU, 84 OTU and 85 OTU so probably came from one of these units.
