On the night of 3rd / 4th February 1943 this 78 Squadron Halifax sustained minor damage following landing at Linton on Ouse after an operational flight to Hamburg. The aircraft took off from Croft at 18.33hrs and landed at 00.05hrs at Linton on Ouse. W7932 appears to have been bogged down or had been bogged down at a runway intersection shortly before Halifax DT554 taxied into it. The marshalling point had been changed and this caused both pilots some degree of confusion.
