Halifax W7928 inspection damage at Holme on Spalding Moor airfield.
On 30th July 1943 this 78 Squadron received an inspection at Holme on Spalding Moor airfield that found some form of damage. The AM Form 1180 does not record the details of what was damaged although a Cat.Ac assessment resulted which meant it was beyond the capability of a ground crew repair. The repair was begun on 30th July 1943 and took until 28th August 1943 for it to be returned to 78 Squadron.
